Can anyone tell me what is the difference between AISI 410 & ASTM A217 CA15. I tried to purchase a ball valve with a AISI 410 ball, but they only offer a valve with a ASTM A217 CA15 ball and said it will be same material. Is this true. My I have any problem using one instead of another?
Sincerely,
Surtigaf

Both 410 and Ca15 are P number 6 materials, according to ASME Sec.9, they also both contain primarily 13% Cr.
