Will stress relieved AL 6061 plate (25 mm thick) warp when subjected to repeated heating to 130 deg C? Each heating/cooling cycle is slow ramping to 130 C, held at the temp 24 hours, and slow cooling to room temp. The plate will be subjected to this duty cycle for years, not everyday. Thanks.

Will the plate be constrained during heating and cooling? Any bolts or other fasteners used to clamp it to something else? In general, I would say that this duty cycle should not result in "warpage", meaning gross dimensional change, but it will depend on some details such as those I just mentioned.

I plan to keep them supported on 3 pins, no bolts or fasteners. I wasn't sure how continued ageing (if happens) would affect the dimension. Thanks for the reply.

6061-T6 plate is aged for 18 hours at 160 C, so heating below this temperature should not produce any additional aging effects.
