anth; I'llgive you the BARE basics, I'm working from memory here! It will be enough to get you started. (assuming you have a carbureated engine)
1 ALWAYS START OVERLY RICH AND WORK BACK !!!!
2 Increase mainjet size 150 to 200 % give or take.
3 Increase needlejet to largest available .
4 If your fuel is gravity fed, increase fuel hose size.
5 If your carbs have idle jets that are changeable, go larger.
6 Advance your ign. timing (trial and error, or dyno).Spark plug heat range will be ok to get started, but you will find changes necessary, just use caution and check frequently untill you get it dialed in.
7 Compression ratio may be increased to as much as 14 to 1
8 There are many two stroke oils available (assuming your bike is a two stroke) but I found the best to be de-gummed castor oil mixed at 40 to one (1 pint in 5 gal) worked for me.
9 If a 4 stroke or rotary, change the engine oil more frequently than normal.
10 If the bike is to be stored for ANY length of time , flush the fuel system with brake cleaner or gasoline to avoid deposits accumulating in the system.
11 BE SURE TO USE RUBBER COMPONENTS OF THE FUEL SYSTEM THAT ARE COMPATABLE WITH ALCOHOL!!!
12 REMEMBER ,THIS IS JUST ENOUGH TO GET YOU STARTED, NOT A TOTAL RECIPE.

100% Methanol=200% of gasoline jetting....100% Ethanol=170% of gasoline jetting. Jetting meaning ALL fuel metering like idle,main and accelerator pump..or fuel injection map.
