Hi people,

In ASTM F2787-09, the serviceability condition requires that the deflection (change in rise and span) under service loads be limited to 2.5% of the nominal rise and span. I am not familiar with ASTM. Questions:

1. What included in the service loads? What modulus of the arch material will be used with each component of the service loads (long-term creep modulus or short-term modulus)?

2. Is there any similar requirement in AASHTO LRFD (for polypropylene arch)?

Your response is greatly appreciated.
