Allowable Nozzle Loads for Storage Tank

Dear forum members,

I have a project to perform stress analysis for a piping system connected to a storage tank smaller than 36m diameter. As client doesn't have the allowable nozzle load, We need to find the allowable nozzle loads ourselves. I came across to this website which has a table in it for allowable Nozzle loads for storage tank, table 7.2.

Anyone knows the mentioned table 7.2 belongs to which standard? I have read API 650 and ASME sec VIII but I haven't seen it there.
Since I can't use API 650 for my tank, I will perform finite element analysis and my plan is to keep my loads on nozzle below the allowable loads mentioned in that table and if I find it in a standard then I will use it as a reference in the report.

Thank you very much in advance.

That table 7.2 looks to me like it's come from a company tank specification document to be sent to a tank vendor. In other words it's a set of values the tank supplier needs to be able to cope with rather than the other way around.

a pity you can't get the data from the data sheet or tank vendor report if you're doing stress for an existing facility.

However the values look about right to me.

Hi LittleInch,

Thank you for your reply.
Actually I have seen in it two other websites therefor I thought it might come from a standard.

It's when you read the notes that when you get the impression that it's a specification
