Hi,

I am trying to find out the material properties for Alloy 601 material (UNS number N06601) from ASME Section II, part D but cannot find the material in Tables TE-1(thermal expansion coefficient), TM-4 (Modulus of elasticity) etc. However, I see that the code does have the material properties for Alloy 600 and Alloy 625.

Can someone explain me why there is no material properties for this material even though allowable stress 'S'(Table 1B) value can be found.

Thanks,
Shiraz

When code cases are written for review and acceptance by the standards committee not all physical properties are included in the submittal.

Further to what metengr said, please submit a request for said properties to the ASME Code Committee. The instructions are in II-D.
