Alow more iterations

Hi,

My solution almost converged on the 40th iteration, things were steadily looking better, then Ansys aborted due to the large number of iterations. How do I increase the number of allowed iterations?

Hi,
if you made 40 equilibrium iterations, then check your settings because you have already manually specified this value: the program default should be 26 in your case.
The command should be NITER,nnn or, in Workbench, somewhere in the Options -> Solution.

I have one rough contact and I reduced the stiffness of this contact. Now it takes 13 iterations.

I think that the default value in WB is 40. At least, I haven't changed it knowingly.
