alt reps does not work in context to assembly

Hi,

NX6 & TCE 2005SR1..

Alt reps does not work in context with assembly.. Meaning, I cannot do a save as to alt rep for an assembly. This works fine for piece parts reporting to the assembly..

Does any one have any solution to this problem.. I need capability to do altrep for assemblies also..

How can I do it..

Try creating a new assembly and then add the altreps one at a time. it that does not work add a regular component, any component, and substitute that component with one of the altreps you really want. In essence you are tricking the system. Good luck.
