Dear all
this test the lab ive scheduled the samples cant undertake due to internal back log. Clay samples are firm to stiff

Is there any combination of tests or test which will privide me with the same parameters.

The above test will prove me with c', phi' and phi critical (from what i understand)

the phi' i can get from small shear box tests, the c' from PI correlations - how do i do get phi' critical?

also pwp measurements - we have on site piezometers - is all this enough for effective stress parameters for a sheet pile wall

Please advise

most appreciated :)

We normally only report c' and phi for CU. how does your lab determine phi' critical? pq diagram after peak failure?

And what design code are you using that requires phi' critical to be calculated.

In EC it generally characteristic values that are used
