I have 2 exchangers that I will be replacing a 6" nozzle with a 8" nozzle. This is a NBIC repair job. I have recieved all my design calculations for the alteration. There is not a U-1 for these vessels. There are no data plates on the vessel itself. I have not done much work in Oklahoma but I am being told that I need to get an Oklahoma repair number before I start my repair. I am having no luck with the plant I am in as far as getting the information I need. I have an original Drawing that shows the original thickness and corrosion allowance from 1959. How can I be sure this drawing is for the exchanger that I am working on. There is nothing stamped on the vessel in the field. I am almost at a stand still with this. Everyone refers me to some one else. My AI told me just to document the work i do on the r-2. But I needed to get a repair number from OK. I do not know what information they are going to need from me, besides the fact that I dont have any information. Thanks
