Alternate view similar to whats possible in Solidworks - Ghosted component in situe in fixture

Hi Everyone

I know people hate this when someone asks I could do it in Solidworks or another CAD software how do you do it in NX.
Well here I go and do the same
I need to be able to ghost outline a component while in situe in the fixture but for it to not hide any of the tool, in Solidworks it would be the command 'Alternate view'
I know there is independent view edit and change line types etc , but all those solutions seem they would take ages.

Depends on what version you are using.
In NX11 there is a solution called Secondary Geometry which will give you the option to render this geometry differently from the main geometry.

my apologies I should have said what version Im using, its NX9 which is restricted by the customer. I believe they are moving to NX11 very soon but no good to me yet

I think Render Set was used prior to NX 11.
