My company currently uses linishing machines and fein die grinders to clear excess braze and inaccuracies in material joins. The joins are similar to that of a seam weld but have only around 1mm of material to remove at most.
This process is very labour intensive and causes the problematic 'white finger'. We have also tried using bead blasting but the process is too slow.
Does anyone have any other methods which may be faster and less labour intensive?
Note: The parent metal is a high carbon steel and the braze comprizes 80%copper.
Cheers
