Hi,

One of our clients intends to connect carbon steel piping to an existing AluBronze valve. The connection will be flanged with tapped bolt holes. Sealing will be performed by an O-ring. So there is no possibility to isolate the Alubronze from the Carbon Steel.
The fluid is sea water. Temperature below 40 degrC and low pressure (3,5 bar).
Anybody having experience with Alubronze - Carbon Steel connections in water services?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Regards,
FKE

Is the steel coated/protected somehow (it better be!).
