Aluminium 1050 and offshore usage

We use aluminium with a low amount of alloy (1050 or 1060) for finning of tubes for air cooled coolers. Often these coolers are used offshore and then the clients are asking for 'marine grade aluminium'.

Now the question is: how can I prove that the used aluminium grade is suitable for a marine environment, is there a standard (ASTM/ISO/EN) which I can use?

The marine grade alloys are are the most corrosion resistant of the high strength structural alloys. However, pure aluminum (the 1000 series) has better thermal and electrical conductivity, and better corrosion resistance.
