Hello
We encounted a problem when casting this alloy. During the cast we found a thick layer built up on the trough walls and tundish dip tube+level control which leaded to poor level control and caused bar break. What is that?
We did not run this alloy before.Does someone know the property of 5025SC? What is it used for? How can we improve?
PS. Our facility is CLECIM strip-wheel casting machine.
