Hi! I'm performing an inspection of an finfan. One of the nozles have this alloy "SB221A96063T5". At the moment I couln't found any information about it. Do you know where I could found any information about it?

That sounds more like a part number. Try Googling the manufacturer of it and searching there.

In did... but I search on vendors documents, and I couldn't found a clue

Never heard the term 'finfan'... actually had to google it... =>> sheet-metal fan-blade for cooling

From 'experience' I think … SB221A96063T5 is a bunch of embedded codes... but HERE is what I THINK is relevant...

SB221A =??unknown

96063T5 =>> UNS Aluminum alloy designation;

Remove the '9' =>> 6063T5 =>> 6063-T5

Hmm. Google told me that a finfan is an fluid-to-air heat exchanger.

Further, simply highlighting the string, right-clicking and selecting "Search Google for..." found several heat exchanger type drawings that have the same number on them. In each case it seems to be a "bracket", confirming EdStainless' guess that it is a part number.

'SB221A96063T5' needs to be taken apart.

SB-221 is the ASME product standard. Go there and I think you will find answers for the rest.
