Aluminum Radiators

Years ago, there was an article in Advanced Materials and Processing (the ASM publication) about ultrasonic soldering of aluminum radiators. Is this the current practice for OEM automotive radiators?

I am certainly no expert, but I don't believe this technology has supplanted conventional dip soldering or brazing as the standard for automotive radiators.
 
The last that I saw were vacuum brazed.

The tube/fin cores are furnace brazed. The plastic end tanks are adhesively bonded using epoxy combined with crimped metal tabs.
