Hey guys,

So a client of ours recently excavated one of their aluminium pipes to find that it had a sizable dent and also a leak later down the line. Both sections will need to be replaced, and the only method I have heard of is called 'explosion joint impact fusion,' which I have no experience with whatsoever.

Just wondering what method you guys would recommend for getting these segments of pipe repaired... It's 4" Aluminium pipe with a wall thickness of 2.16mm.

Thanks!
