Hi this is my first post so bear with me. My current employer purchased a used 2008 Amada2415 about 1.5 years ago and its been quite a learning experience for me. We also have the LMP-3015 sheet loader. My question is in regards to cutting conditions on .120 1018 MS. I have cut this material with great results for quite some time and all of the sudden it just wont cut satisfactory. The cut leave small but noticeable dross on the back side. I have tried all i know from focus adjustment, new nozzle, cleaned and changed lens, tried conditions with both 5 and 7.5 lens to no avail. Thanks for any help, Jason.

When you say small noticeable dross do you mean molten metal or small beads that you can rub off with you hand or a file rather than a grinder ??? If it's the first then it's more likely a gas pressure issue not enough to blow the molten material away fast enough, if it's the second then it's a focal issue try small .1 increases / decreases till you get it back rather than big changes. I don't run an Amada but I think it's safe to say the operation is the same as a bystronic laser.

If you ask me to do something, I will do it. There's no need to nag me every 6 months
