Ambient Light Will Not Delete

I have an older part file created by a predecessor. It has two ambient lights defined in the lighting tree (see attached image). I only want one per our company standard. There seems to be no way to delete ambient lights, only directional lights, in this part file. Any advice?

Thanks. I figured as much. Just hate contacting VAR because everything turns into a drawn out affair where I have to use RX to record it and zip files and email to them.

I would just email them the file and explain it the same way you did hear. They should be smart enough to figure it out... but then again there are some support people that make you wonder why they are doing support.

You have a company policy regarding ambient lights in part models? Wow.

Not per se. I am the engineering department, so what I say goes [wink] I specifically hate older darker lighted files. It seems like everyone who was doing SW parts and assemblies in the mid to late 2000's had their lighting dark and one light was purple in color. I am getting older so cannot see anything in darker files, but I also don't want them brilliant and blinding like I am getting with this one with two ambient light sources defined. I have a macro that automatically fixes the lighting in every legacy part/assembly file I open.

Don't I wish!
I always have to fight with model displays that someone else set up. It can be frustrating.
