Hi, I know that AMD Radeon RX 470 is not suitable as GPU for 2d/3d simulation and calculation, but I wonder if it's good enough for basic use of Abaqus. I'm not interested in the advanced option or analyzing complex cases...it's not for professional use, only "fun" at home, as to improve my skills and learn. What are your opinion? thanks!

Any ideas? I will use it with an Intel core i5-6500...

I would imagine you would be fine. I was able to run Abaqus on my old laptop from school which had Intel integrated graphics. It could create 3D geometry just fine.
