We are doing a stripping in sour water from FCC that contains water, H2S, Ammonia and phenol.
Since there are no present of chloride and oxidant agent in the Heat & Material Balance. SCC mightly would not hapen.
But I am still consfused in wet ammonia contained in the water. Can any body give some guidance and/or share experience in what materials can be selected?
Before stripping the water, the ammonia is about 3% of mass. While entering the acid gas incerenator it became 60% ammonia, 35% H2S, and the rest is Water. I am thinking Alloyed CS for this line, but still not sure. Or I just go with Nickel Alloy for a safety reason?
