ive created an arc, which i need the length to use in further relations.

So i have used analysis, measure, add feature.

At which it moves to the model tree.

But how can i USE this measurement in relations?

many thanks

Skiddy,

The syntax for relating the analysis features is as follows:

parameter_name:FID_analsysis_feature_name

Thus, if you were using the length from Analysis feature "Analysis1" it would be:

length:FID_Analysis1

Hope this helps.

Mloew,

Were did you find this information? I was tring to find this the other night. Can't find much in the PTC online documentatiuon of what you can use in a relation or programs. Is there complete documentation of the syntax/symantics of what can go into a relation?

Andy,

Perhaps I cheated, but I went through training on Behavioral Modeling and Mechanism Design by Dr. Andreas Vlahinos, President of Advanced Engineering Solutions LLC (
