Good day Engrs. I would like to ask some questions regarding this topic because i'm not quite familiar with the works of geotechnical engineering since im mostly working in the field of water resources and it's my first time work in geotechnical side. Can you guys help to understand on how can i analyze the stress of soil in plane surface and how can i relate this in structural analysis?

I couldn't link the "plane stress of soil" to "structural analysis". Are you talking about lateral soil pressure, and its effect on the interface structures? You need to describe your question with more detail, and maybe a sketch. If this is only relates to soil, you should re-post on the geotechnical engineering forum.

A vague question. However in general when one asks a question that is very broad, you will not get much help here. Best bet is invest in the same texts that are used in college courses. Assuming you have been to college, likely there is a book store there that sells them. Ask for the text names that the geotech department requires for their courses. I note that on my bookshelf there is one book that covers much of these subjects. It is called "Standard Handbook for Civil Engineers". McGraw Hill
