Analysis setup guidance please

I am required to model two solid parts - This has been done in Ansa and they are ready to go.

I am then required to heat one section of the larger part and record the pressure and stress on the smaller part due to the thermal expansion.

I am totally new to thermal analysis and Abaqus.

I have had a few goes and manage to get the heat transfer through the larger part but it does not seem to transfer across the contact and I can't seem to output the stresses and pressure.

Basically I need pointing in the right direction please.

You could use a coupled temperature displacement model as you have contact conditions. Use Gap Conductivity and gap radiation so that conduction applies when the gap is zero and radiation applies when it's open.
