Done, found one solution:

Link

"For a .CATProduct, in the corresponding .CATDrawing if we generate the BOM, the values for all the columns will be as seen in the properties of the individual .CATParts. If we save the BOM as .txt file (in .CATProduct, Analyze - Bill of Material - Save As...), the values for the columns will be truncated to certain number of characters (say 19 characters for the properties Product Description and Definition). This truncation happens if we do the operation through script too.

The number of characters for these properties could be found and altered in the file CATAsmBom.CATRsc under the V5 installation folder msgcatalog. We need to edit this file on every new installation if we want to extract total values in BOM through Save As or thorugh script.

Is it possible to obtain the BOM values in total without editing the above said file...?

Thanks,

Prabhu. "
