Dear all ANSYS Workbench Users,

I am performing a flexible dynamic analysis on an assembly with moving parts using ANSYS Workbench. As you know in this case, the contact area between components changes
during the load history.

I need to obtain the contact area for some points of load history, is it possible using ANSYS Workbench? How could I get these areas?

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,
Chaabain

Chabaain, if you can subscribe to xansys on top of this forum you'd get more rounded information. You can do a search in their archives. This is a very good question, and there is probably some high detail ADPL scripting required to figure this out. If I had more time I'd look into this as well.

Thank you cvan42 for your reply. I'm subscribed to this forum but I am afraid of asking any question in this forum because I've already got some sarcastic responses to a valid question as I think.
