I am looking for good resources covering the design of base plates and anchor bolt chairs for cylindrical structures (i.e. stacks and vessels). I have some references, but each reference has it's pro's and con's. Is there a complete resource available? The reference that I use, and is referenced by the API 650 standard for oil tanks is:

Steel Plate Engineering Data, Volume 2 - Useful Information on the Design of Plate Structures, Part VII - Anchor Bolt Chairs

This publication is available from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) for a very reasonable cost.

Another standard reference is:

Structural Analysis and Design of Process Equipment , by Jawaad and Faar. The publisher is Wiley. ISBN # 0-471-09207-X [sig][/sig]
