Anchor Bolt Sizing for Rotating Process Equipment

Can someone recommend some relevant codes (AISC) or references on the topic of anchor bolt (expansion or epoxy) sizing for rotating process equipment (pumps, blowers, compressors).

Any quick & dirty estimating techniques would also be appreciated.

The IBC has a table for anchor bolts based upon ASD (an older table) that doesn't utilize ACI Appendix D at all.

The code states that use of this table is not to be used for seismic loads so it may work with your situation. Look up "anchor bolts" in the IBC index. This would probably be the 2003 or 2006 IBC.

these are all vibrating equipments and a structural engineer should be the one to design both the anchor bolt and foundation.

anyway, dont forget to use double-nut. it's standard for vibrating equipment.
