Hello everyone,
I am commissioned to estimate a bill of quantity for the civil facilities in a power plant revamping.
Given the fact that the drawings available don't cover every facility I was looking for a fast way to estimate the weight of the anchor bolts.
I was thinking about defining an anchor bolts incidence (kg/m2), obviously depending on the type of the structure to be anchored to the foundation.
Is there someone who have already used this approach?

I've always used a specific count and a unit price per anchor rod. With your approach, you might include it in some form of ocntingency, perhaps as part of the 10% to 15%. Don't recall off the top, but I seem to recall $75. per anchor rod for placing and material.
