Animal by products in Glue 2

Does anyone have a worry or comments about Animal fats in grinding compound? Or the glue that is used to bond grit to cloth or paper?
Have some clients worried about Mad Cow and the possibility of this getting in the final product. All comments are welcomed

Most of the fats used in the formulation of metal working fluids are synthetic in nature and the bonds used in grinding wheels and coated abrasives are as well

I think the biggest problem would come from the hide glues.

I don't think that many people have worried about the animal fats like beef suet and lard as both were used for cooking until recently. Beef fat was used in the best restaurants and as the secret ingredient in McDonald's French Frying oil. All donuts were cooked in a 50/50 mixture of pig and beef fat. Very good for cooking fish also.
As I understand the problem is that the organ tissues are the worst.

I have trouble seeing traditional "hide glues" finding use in the production metal removal environment as they tend to be water soluble and are soften when they come in contact with oil
