Hello,

Does anyone know of any good freeware or shareware software that allows you to animate 3D solid models and/or assemblies created with AutoCAD? I am looking for the cheapest software with the shortest learning curve.

I have tried a freeware program called "3D canvas" at but I am having trouble importing solid models into the program because the dxf file must contain only polygons.

It is also desirable for the software to be able to generate Avi files or some format that allows the animation to be shown on the internet or a computer.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
John
