Animation of sheet metal rolling

Anyone know how to animate a sheet metal thru a rollers, something like this?

Typically this is done by varying parameters such that more of the part is on one side of the roller and less on the other and copying the screen at each small step and then using movie/animation software to put the individual images into an animation format.

This can be done using a sweep along the path. There can be other ways as well.
