Hi
We got at project with a steeltank, where the bottom is insulated with foamglas. Between the insulation and bottom, we plan to place app. 50 mm af dry sand. The buyer are requiring annealing of the welds.
My problem is that the supplier of the foamglas is worried that the foamglas in theory will get to warm during the annealing-process, and will crack/decompose.
Is there anybody how got practical experience with this subject? We are planning to do a test, but it would be nice to know what to expect
Best regards,
Kasper
