I have a site with a ditch/stream bisecting the property. All of my outlet controls will discharge towards the ditch. I normally end my Tc at my basin entrance and connect my ponds to the final discharge point via a reach with no description (a collection point). I have been told that this is not accounting for the further travel time that each basin would have to follow to get to the final point down the stream.
First question: Is that an accurate statement?
Second: could I add a reach after the pond with a description of the ditch to account for the further length to the downstream exit point?
Thank You.

1. Yes
2. Yes add a reach...or multiple reaches ...whatever is necessary to route the ponds to the analysis point. If the basins outlet to the ditch at different locations...be sure to have a reach between the basin outlets. This is where the concern may arise from the reviewer...timing could make the peaks stack...or not.

Thank you for the assistance. Very helpful.
