ANSI/NFPA Fluid Cylinder Standards

I would like to put in RFQ to a list of my vendors for a ANSI/NFPA standard cylinder. What standard should I buy so that I will know the proper way to spec the cylinders. Specifically I would like to know how to generate a part number for a standard NFPA cylinder. (If that is possible. Thanks)
