In Wisconsin, we still design under 2000 IBC. I recently received an advertisement for a Wind Design Seminar entitled "Understanding ANSI/SPRI ES-1", which is an alledged, required standard for roof edges in the 2003 IBC.
I tried to find this publication on the ANSI.org site. It could not be found. I did, however, find it at the SPRI (Single-Ply Roof) site.
Is this truly required by 2003 IBC?
Could this be a worthwhile seminar?
Is this a lobby by the SPRI to sell literature for profit?
Please advise ... Thank you ...
