I used to use traditional ANSYS GUI to build, solve, and postprocess the results. Now I have Workbench and also DesignModeler installed on my computer. DesignModeler seems to be very fancy but I am not sure if it is easy to learn and whether or not it can replace the traditional GUI preprocessor. I need to build some structural bridge models and they are basically shell elements. But I do need to use submodeling at some point to check local stresses.

Any comments? Suggestions? Thanks!
