Hello! I am new to ANSYS and needing some help on how to get started on building my geometry. I have tried a couple of tactics but it doesn't generate correctly. A photo is attached of what i am trying to build.I am having trouble building the biconical shape of the hole that is located inside the box. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

you should read the user manual and do a few tutorials to get the hang of generating good geometry/meshes.

also, you did not include any images.

Sorry, but it's not clear to me what you are attempting to do from your images . Are you trying to generate a honeycomb type structure? If you are familiar with an external cad package you could just generate your geometry there and import to ANSYS?

Sorry for the confusion. The geometry is similar to a honeycomb type structure. It is a cylinder-type geometry with a round top, however, inside it is more of a biconical shape rather than a perfect circle (as it is on the top). I am not familiar with CAD, but i will look up some tutorials.

Thank you for the suggestion,
Mavila
