ANSYS workbench hanging after adding spring elements

Dear Sir,

I am doing the finite element anlaysis of knee joint in ANSYS Workbench.

After adding spring elements to represent the horn attachments of the menisci to the tibia, I am able to solve the model in ANSYS workbench.

But problem is that after after adding i.e about totally 40 springs to represent the horn attachments,system is getting hanged.

Could any one pls. help me solve this problem...

Not sure what you mean by "getting hanged." Check your .err file.
