Hi every body,
Is there any specific reference shows that joule-thomson phenomenon is considered/(or not considered) in design of anti surge valve? The issue is related to the valves for use in natural gas trunk line compressor stations.

Jt cooling always needs to be considered whet you have a change in presure of a gas especially at a control valve.

To ignore it will voice you false results.
