Does anyone see any benefit of using a cable limiter on the secondary side of the station service transformer in a HV substation application?

Notice that there is a primary fused disconnect switch with 350A CL fuses. This is an interim installation with removal schedule in the ultimate design schedule in a couple of years later.

The only benefit I see would be to reduce the incident energy at the Safety Switch if that is to be used to verify de-energized on the secondary side for LOTO. Otherwise the only protection from an arc flash or other short circuit is the primary side protection which would be slower.
