I am not sure what you are looking for but here is a shot. Both Motorola and TI have web sites that offer tutorials on microcontrollers. Mototrola has one called "Understanding Mocrocontroller Basics and TI has one I read "Choosing the right microcontroller for your application. I would start here.......Hope this helped
