Hi, I am curently looking for a easy to use 3D program for use of upto 20 floors. I have been using AutoCAD for 6 years now but have not found the time to work with 3D dwg's. So if anyone can help me that would be great.

Thanks,

Take one floor for experimenting, extrude (menu) the contours, like 3 m for walls, 2 m for the door etc, subtract (menu) the windows from walls.

Then, copy the first floor from 0,0,0 to 0,0,3 meters then rotate the view with the mouse (orbit)

Hope this is useful.

My fave recomendation, especially if you're used to ACAD is Rhinoceros. It uses all the same keyboard shortcuts as ACAD, works in a very similar way, and is all in all very familiar coming from acad.
They do a 30 day trial at their website, which I THINK is It's a very good program, and I use it a lot.

Autocad can be a very efficient method of doing the architectural work. Above ALL, it is efficient in memory.
Many 3d Designs in Autocad are much smaller than those
in a 3d Program...3d Studio Viz would be my next
choice. It is integrated with autocad.
