Hi, I'm an instructor at a local community college. I'm teaching CNC machinists and technicians. Part of the training involves the proper use of the coordinate measuring machine. I'm looking for good instructional books on this subject. Does anyone have a favorite book for the CMM? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

As an overall text with a section dealing with CMM I would recommend "Fundamentals of Dimensional Metrology" Dotson,Harlow, and Thompson.

Dean, what type of CMM (software) are you trying to teach? Or are you more interested in the concepts of GD&T?
