Am in the process of learning Patran at my latest gig. Unfortunatly, these guys aren't likely to spring for any training and the most I can hope to learn by asking questions is just enough to "get by". I'd like to be considerably more knowledgable than just the bare minimum required. However, I'm pretty sure I can't afford training seminars.

Are there any good online communities where I could learn more? Or does anyone know of any good books/CD-ROM tutorials that I can purchase (without spending thousands of dollars)?

Thanks,

yes... I can recommend the training materials available on MSC store.
those are the course notes and workshops which are about $50 a piece.

Really? I always thought those were just freakishly expensive...I'll check that out right now, thanks.

yeah... the courses themselves are, but the course material is relatively not expensive.
and there is nothing really out there except for this material.
