Hi
I have got some assembly file with a referenced drawing in it. Everything would be OK but there are plenty of collisions: one part is to long, another too short.
I tried finding a quick way to prove this model but that seems to be more complicated that I suspected
Look at the attachment
How to trim / extend /change angle of face in the Assembly. There is no problem when all surfaces are parallel or perpendicular then the situation is easy. but I have various angles between surfaces and measurement each of them and cutting surfaces by using that dimension are time consuming operations.
I can make that in the part model (by exporting assmebly model to the multibody part and then any modifications are very simple) but all referenced drawing are lost.
I found also a function: "Assembly Cut" but it doesn't change solid models in parts but make new one in Assembly.
Do you have any suggestion ?
Regards.
