Any statistics on lives lost due to fires in buildings protected with NFPA #13R systems?

I heard somewhere the NFPA #13R committee is thinking about requiring sprinklers in attics due to several fires in unsprinkled attics that completely wiped out the building.

I can't point it to you but I did see or hear about it somewhere.

But we all know that NFPA #13R systems were never meant to save property but lives.

What I am curious to know is have there been any loss of life in fires where the buildings had a 13R system?

Changes are forthcoming in the 2021 IFC and IBC to limit the use of NFPA 13R. The biggest change will be for podium construction. Currently one can measure the height of the Group R occupancy from the 3-hour floor-ceiling assembly instead of the lowest level of FD access. That probably will go away in the 2021 IFC and IBC.
