Not sure what the best forum for these questions is, but does anyone use Smarteam primarily for it's workflow capability? What are some typical practices for creating a change request and change notice within Smarteam? Does anyone utilize folders in this practice to separate change request supporting docs with change notice doc? What tools do you use to search for a project (workflow)?
Most of the threads I've seen deal with the PDM aspect of Smarteam, but we're not to that stage yet (standardization of parts issues), so we're using it primarily to handle change request workflows and very basic check-in/check-out control. Very awkward and difficult to find anything. Just curious to see what some typical practices are.
