Hi,

on my studies in university i worked with ansys and programmed in apdl as well. now in my new job i would like to work with apdl as well to programm some analytical solution - not finite solution, because for finite analyses we used diferent software :-(( . So i dont need ansys itself, only this apdl. i tried something programmed in mathcad with do-loops - but dont like that. Only what i know about apdl that it is based on fortran.

So is there some software which can work with this apdl input files besides ansys directly? Maybe some version of fortan ?

Hi,
from "APDL" own meaning: ANSYS Parametric Development Language.
It's not a programming language like "C++" or others. It's tuned and specific for Ansys.
